Job Title: Level 1 IT Support Engineer (Onsite Support)

Overview
We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Level 1 IT Support Engineer to join our onsite support team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in end-user support who thrives in a customer-facing environment. You’ll be working across multiple sites in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, ensuring seamless IT operations for users on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to users on-site, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and related equipment.
- Support users with commonly used business applications and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Maintain incident records in the ticketing system, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Level 2/3 support teams.
- Conduct basic maintenance and routine IT checks.
- Coordinate remotely with IT teams for project-based tasks and escalations.
Nice to Have
- Basic networking skills, including understanding of IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ability to perform LAN testing using cable testers or diagnostic tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT support or desktop support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and an eagerness to resolve user issues efficiently.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (B2 level) — both written and verbal.
- Good understanding of Windows AND Mac OS and common business IT environments.
- Self-starter who can work independently across multiple client locations.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service mindset.
- Ability to travel between Amsterdam and Rotterdam sites (travel covered by client).
