About the Role
We are hiring a Senior L3 Support Engineer to take full ownership of complex client environments across infrastructure, networking, cloud, and endpoints. This is a hands-on role focused on solving root causes, delivering high-impact improvements, and driving stability across multi-layered systems.
Role Details
- Location: Remote
- Type: Minimum 12 Month Contract
- Level: Senior (L3 / CST Level 3)
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday : 5pm-2am SAST
- Engagement Model: Joining a client partner’s infrastructure and operations team
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end troubleshooting across endpoint, server, network, and cloud environments
- Design and implement infrastructure, network architecture, and hybrid cloud solutions
- Lead server lifecycle management including migrations, upgrades, and optimisation
- Manage virtualisation platforms and storage systems for performance and reliability
- Drive automation, monitoring, and proactive improvements across environments

- Strong ownership mindset with focus on root cause resolution
- Ability to work independently across complex, multi-client environments
- Clear communicator and mentor to junior engineers
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience in MSP or multi-client environments
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects and migrations
- Strong experience across networking, cloud, and systems engineering
Required Technical Skills
- Windows Server (2016–2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Networking (VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
- Virtualisation (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (hybrid environments)
- PowerShell scripting and automation
Optional Technical Skills
- Backup solutions (Veeam, Datto)
- RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, N-Able)
- SAN/NAS storage management
